NATURAL RUBBER COATED COTTON TIRE CORD
The natural rubber coated cotton fabric combines the following properties:
- Natural rubber has excellent mechanical properties. It has good compression and fairly good resistance to water and non-mineral detergent acids.
Limitations: It has a low resistance to UV and hydrocarbon solvents (aliphatic and aromatic), oils or petroleum derivatives.
- Cotton is a natural fiber of vegetable origin. The cotton thread is derived from the transformation of the hairs of the Gossypium (or cotton plant). We also designate under the same name the fabric resulting from the weaving of this thread. Cotton is the first textile fiber used in the world despite the advent of synthetic fibers. The cotton fabric is flammable. It decomposes around 160°C. Cotton is popular because of its characteristics: appearance, lightness, comfort and ease of assembly and transformation.
