VITON RUBBER (FKM)
FKM rubber, Viton ®, is a fluorinated synthetic rubber. It is the elastomer with the best chemical resistance to solvents and other aggressive fluids as well as to very high temperatures.
Advantages of Viton Rubber:
- Excellent resistance to: High temperature (250°C continuously)
- Harsh chemicals, lubricants, solvents and fuels Aging.
- Good mechanical properties.
Limits: contact with hydrofluoric, chlorosulfonic and nitric acids, ketones, amines, ethers and esters.
